Al Razavi is
the founder and artistic director of Dramasports Interactive Theater. His learning-by-doing approach to teaching and training
makes his workshops effective, efficient, and fun. In every session, through participatory exercises, he encourages participants
to take risks and find out for themselves the dynamics of human interactions. In his small classes, his focus is to make sure
that all workshop participants have enough stage time and are making progress toward honing their craft by building skills,
learning practical tools, and effective techniques. He has presented innovative performance training, teacher-in-service,
organizational communication skills training workshops at national and international conferences including Screen Actors Guild
Conservatory/Hollywood, NASAGA, Magnet Schools of America, Applied Improvisation Network, International Schools of Performing
Arts, The California Theater Education Association, and the Actors Network. Al believes actors build a solid acting foundation
and confidence when they act out what they learn before live audiences. Actors consistently rate him as one of the best acting
teachers in their experience. He holds two graduate degrees in the areas of performing arts and creative writing. He has college
and secondary credentials from the State of California, U.S. and has taught a wide range of workshops in the areas performing
arts, team building, and English/creative writing at college and secondary levels in the US and Europe. He is a member of
the Screen Actors Guild of America (SAG) and has taught acting at Screen Actors Guild Conservatory in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
He organized many youth and adult theater troupes and produced many successful shows in California.

What do actors, teachers, and corporate
people say about Al Razavi I have
taken several improvisation classes and have never learned so much about myself and improvisation in such a short amount of
time. This class is very informative and the teacher was wonderful.Andie Artino, Actor, Member
of Screen Actors Guild (SAG) SAG Conservatory Evaluation - Hollywood, CAThanks for a superb
improvisational workshop! You opened my eyes, ears, brain and heart to new listening techniques and innovative communications
skills. Your ability to meet the needs of all students and to give them performance confidence is a testimony to your excellence
as an instructor and director.Corinne Williams, Director, Long Beach Playhouse, Long Beach
(CA)Theater is the only art form that imitates life and deals with real life issues. Mr. Razavi's
invaluable training provides students with an opportunity to develop creativity, self- expression, and performance and communication
skills far above anything offered in the past. In this unique workshop, all teachers take on the roles of students and participate
in every activity, and so they feel and learn step-by-step how each activity works. This tremendously helps teachers to learn
the entire process and encourage them to enthusiastically take the learned tools to their classrooms.Karen Robertson Murrieta Valley Unified School District Instruction and Staff Development CoordinatorThank you for the terrific experience! ...Having worked fifteen years in corporate, I have been to every workshop
or seminar you can fathom. In the improv workshop, being a part of the information by participating, brought a new dimension
to the learning process. I found that I retained more information than other seminar types, and my listening skills have improved
greatly...I discovered new joy in being with people. I look forward meeting my clients and they are no longer just part of
my agenda.Carmen Cozby, Millennium Productions, California

Riverside Community College, SupervisorMr. Razavi's teacher-in-service workshops in the areas
of teaching performing arts, organizing school-based DRAMASPORTS theater troupes and improv-based creative writing are truly
unique. His teacher and student friendly workshops and teaching materials are not only useful in a visual and performing arts

programs.Suzanne Linden, Moreno Valley Unified School District, Academy of the Arts, Site Administrator
